The Glory of God

through my eyes

Hey JJ,

I watched this and wondered ... hmmm ... what did your eyes see? I'd love to know!

As I watched the girls running and frolicing through the surf and approaching waves it reminded me of our journey with God. We approach and retreat...we love Him, we fear Him...we feel confident, we feel shame, we sin...we are forgiven. The part I loved is that the girls were giggling. As God's beloved children, shouldn't our journey with God be filled with laughter and love and joy? I think we get too serious sometimes. I used to think approaching God was like approaching the wizard in the Wizard of Oz...be ready to step back from the wrath. In reality we need to be ready to be lavished with love, joy and peace.

God bless - Kathy J.
